What does “share an asset and earn credits” actually mean?
You are not selling the file and other creators are not paying you directly. You choose an eligible creation, Novirec publishes a controlled Community version, and the reward system measures whether that asset becomes genuinely useful to other creators.

From My Library, choose Share with Community. Only eligible, rights-safe Novirec generations can pass the publishing checks.
Get published
After moderation and acceptance, the asset becomes discoverable in the Community Library and can be used for free inside Novirec.
Help creators
Novirec counts qualified external uses, distinct creators and distinct projects. Clicks and previews do not count.
Unlock rewards
As the asset reaches policy milestones, eligible reward credits are calculated from that asset’s original generation cost.

How rounding works
Cumulative targets are rounded down to whole credits. That means a low-cost asset can produce 0 credits at an early milestone even though the percentage milestone itself was reached. Later milestones still calculate from the original full generation cost.

QUALIFIED USES
Novirec rewards useful reuse, not clicks
A “use” must survive server-side verification before it becomes qualified. This makes the metrics harder to inflate and keeps milestones tied to real creator workflows.

- Another creator keeps your Community asset actively referenced in a project across at least 60 seconds of server verification.
- A downstream generation using the Community reference completes successfully.
- Distinct eligible creators can advance the 1, 10, 50 and 100 creator reward milestones.
- Multiple bindings of the same asset inside the same creator/project context are deduplicated for qualified-use identity.
Does not count
- Using your own Community asset.
- Opening an asset card or previewing it.
- Clicks, searches or favorites by themselves.
- Temporary references that disappear before the server persistence check completes.
- Creator/consumer relationships excluded by the current reward safety and risk checks.

Your reputation grows when your assets genuinely help people
Publishing lots of assets does not increase your reputation score by itself. Creator diversity is the strongest signal, while repeated uses and projects are deliberately capped relative to the number of creators helped.

Exact V1 reputation formula
Score = 100 × creators helped + 5 × bounded qualified uses + 2 × bounded projects helped.
Qualified uses are capped at 20 per creator helped for scoring, and projects are capped at 10 per creator helped. The underlying qualified-use history is not deleted; only its influence on reputation is bounded.

FAIRNESS & SAFETY
Built to reward useful sharing without turning Community into a farming system
Reward correctness is deliberately separate from normal Community use. If reward safety or posting infrastructure is unavailable, creators can still browse and use Community assets while reward posting waits safely.
No self-use rewardsThe consumer must be different from the original creator.
One lifetime chain per assetRepublishing cannot create a fresh duplicate reward chain.
Idempotent credit postingRetries reuse the same deterministic reward key so the same milestone cannot be paid twice.

Community Rewards questions
What is a Community Asset?
A Community Asset is an eligible Novirec-generated image or video that its original creator chooses to publish to the Community Library. Other Novirec creators can reuse published Community assets inside Novirec for free.
How much can one asset earn?
Under the current V1 policy, one Community asset can recover up to 5% of the authoritative credits originally spent to generate it. Rewards are milestone-based and rounded down to whole credits at each cumulative target.
What counts as a qualified use?
A qualified project use must come from another creator and remain actively referenced by the project long enough for Novirec to verify it on the server across at least 60 seconds. Successful downstream generation references can also qualify. Clicks, previews and simply opening an asset do not count.
Does using my own asset count?
No. Self-use is excluded from qualified usage and cannot advance reward milestones.
Why is the first reward delayed?
The publication milestone has a 24-hour hold. This gives moderation and safety checks time to settle before the first publication-based reward can become available.
What happens if I unpublish an asset?
Unpublishing stops new Community discovery and cancels pending or unvested rewards for that asset. Credits already settled stay settled. If the same asset is republished later, the same lifetime reward chain resumes; Novirec does not create a second reward chain.
Are Community Rewards cash?
No. Community Rewards are Novirec wallet credits. The “estimated credits saved” metric is an illustrative avoided-generation equivalent and is not cash, money saved or a withdrawable balance.
Can rewards be delayed even after a milestone?
Yes. Live credit posting is subject to creator eligibility, current safety/risk checks and operational caps. If a posting cap or required safety dependency blocks a reward, the reward remains retryable instead of being duplicated or silently paid twice.
Can I share uploaded files?
The current eligibility path is designed for eligible Novirec-generated images and videos with verifiable provenance and rights-safe source history. Uploaded files and generations that depend on private uploaded references are not automatically eligible for Community publishing.
Does publishing more assets automatically increase reputation?
No. Reputation deliberately ignores publication volume. It is based on useful external reuse: distinct creators helped, qualified uses and distinct projects helped, with limits that prevent one account from dominating the score through repeated use.
